We're all travelers through this earth experience we call life. As we journey though our experiences, it's important to remember who we really are: Powerful, spiritual beings of light. I'm glad your journey has brought you here.

Creating a Cookbook

A cookbook starts out just like any book--with an idea and a desire
to write it. I wrote my first cookbook, Really Good Recipes, as a
lark because I thought it would be fun to do and I wanted to share
my recipes. It was fun and it was definitely a learning experience.
One of the first things I learned is that a cookbook is so much more
than just recipes; it's filled with a theme and a story line, and lots
of enticing tidbits.

Since that time, I've written and self-published 3 more cookbooks,
and had another one (Foods and Flavors of San Antonio) commercially published. I'm currently working on a second Tex-Mex cookbook that my publisher asked me to write, as well as two others.

I also teach cookbook-writing classes through NEISD Community Education and am writing another workbook that offers a detailed, step-by-step approach to creating a cookbook.

Tomorrow, I'll share two cookbooks that are works-in-progress. I hope you like spicy food. I'm serving both chile and chili, and will explain the difference between the two.
